Layer 1 — Ingestion & storage
A queryable copy of every model
BIMpossible reads element data from Autodesk's AEC Data Model and normalizes it into its own PostgreSQL database — rooms, parameters, schedules, equipment, levels, grids. It's version-aware: it checks the model version and refreshes only when something changed, so the data is fast and Autodesk's API stays within limits.
Layer 2 — Application logic
The intelligence that makes data useful
Saved views, firm defaults, calculated fields, and the relationships between elements — how a panel connects to its circuits, how a room relates to its doors. This is the layer that turns raw properties into answers, and it's a layer your firm defines.
Layer 3 — Interface
A workspace organized your way
A clean web application that mirrors how your firm actually thinks about its work — no Autodesk branding, no third-party UX to fight. If you can use a spreadsheet, you already know how to use it.
